Stoner Vactions

Amsterdam, Negril, and Ibiza have been named as the ultimate holiday destinations for friends of Maryjane by High Times magazine. The article provides is a surprisingly good review of each destination, from history to where to eat and where to party.
The article also points out where pot is and isn't legal on it's list: no in Jamaica, sort of in Ibiza, and yes in Amsterdam. It doesn't point out that the jail sentence in Jamaica for marijuana posession can be up to 25 years, so that's worth considering when you make holiday plans. Jail is not a groovy way to extend your vacation.
Also listed: a link to Apothecary Travel, an alternative travel agency specialising in package holidays to eight major events on the stoner calendar, including Hempfest in Seattle and the cannabis Cup in Amsterdam.

This sounds really interesting, i guess i would vote for Ibiza, it looks more promising.

I would recommend the life sentence for drug dealers because they are to blame for the loss of lives, families, carriers etc.

Did you ever see Ganja Queen. That movie scared the hell out of me and convinced me that smuggling drugs in another country is never EVER worth the risk.

Mary jane is definitely highly popular in Amsterdam.
We actually considered smoking pot where it was legal (when we were in Amsterdam in 2007), but spent the day being accosted by stupid, drunk, stoned tourists, and decided we didn’t want to join in the “fun”.
If that’s your scene, Amsterdam is definitely a good place to be though.
